Grain Marketing

Sales, contracts, and your ladder

What is this?

Track every sale and contract (cash, forward, basis, HTA) against your expected production — % sold, weighted average price, and open exposure at today's market.

The ladder

A plan per commodity: rungs like "sell 15% at $4.75". Fill is computed by cumulative pacing — rung 1 is "filled" once total sold bushels cover it, regardless of which sale did it. One tap turns a rung into an email price alert.

Where the numbers come from

Expected production = acres × target yield across your fields for that crop. Flip on harvest actuals and it uses real HARVEST records instead. Prices are live CME futures in ¢/bu.

Discipline, not advice

The tool holds you to the plan you set in winter; it never tells you the market's direction. Sell decisions stay yours.

Nothing here is financial, agronomic, or legal advice. The deterministic tools (breakevens, marketing math, harvest shrink) are exact arithmetic on your numbers. The AI features interpret, and they never save anything without your confirmation.
