Time & hours

Crew time cards by QR sticker

What is this?

A QR sticker in each cab. Your crew scans it with the phone camera, taps their name, enters a 4-digit PIN, and they're clocked in on that machine. Scan again to clock out. You see who ran what, for how long, and where.

Setting it up

Add your crew on the Crew tab with a PIN each and tell them their PIN. Your machines come from the Equipment page. Print QR stickers puts every active machine on one sheet. If a sticker goes missing, replace it and the old one stops working.

GPS, and only twice

The phone saves one location at clock-in and one at clock-out. Nothing is tracked in between. If GPS is off or the worker says no, the time still counts and the card shows no location.

Clocked hours vs engine hours

Clocked hours are time on the clock. At clock-out the worker can type the hour meter; that reading updates the machine's hours on the Equipment page and gives you true engine hours.

Service reminders

Set "service every" hours per machine (Machine hours tab or the equipment form). AleroAG counts from the last service with an hour reading and puts a card on Today when a machine is close or overdue.

Forgot to clock out?

Anything open more than 14 hours is set aside as "never clocked out" and isn't counted until you set the end time. Scanning a second machine closes the first one automatically.

Not payroll

This is a record of hours with a CSV export for your bookkeeper. It does not calculate pay or overtime; farm overtime rules differ by state.

Nothing here is financial, agronomic, or legal advice. The deterministic tools (breakevens, marketing math, harvest shrink) are exact arithmetic on your numbers. The AI features interpret, and they never save anything without your confirmation.
