What AleroAG is

AleroAG is a set of record-keeping, planning, and market tools for farms and ranches, operated by AleroLabs. It is currently free to use. We may add paid features in the future; anything you use for free today will not be silently converted into a bill.

Your account

• You need to be at least 16 and give us a working email address.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your login.
• One account per person. If several people run the operation, each should have their own login for now.
• You can delete your account at any time under Account settings.

Your data

Everything you enter stays yours. We do not claim ownership of it, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties except the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, and only to run the feature. You give us permission to store and process it so the tools work, and to fetch weather, satellite, and market data for the locations you enter. You can export it as CSV or GeoJSON at any time.

Numbers are tools, not advice

Breakevens, marketing math, spray windows, yield estimates, insurance estimates, tax comparisons, the Field Advisor, and Crop Scout are calculations and suggestions built from the data you entered and from public feeds that can be delayed or wrong. They are not agronomic, financial, legal, tax, or insurance advice. Check important numbers against your agronomist, your accountant, your elevator, and your insurance agent before acting on them. Market prices shown may be delayed.

The AI features

The Field Advisor and Crop Scout use AI models running on our own servers. They can misread a photo or a sentence. Nothing they produce is saved to your records until you confirm it, and you should review anything they suggest before relying on it.

Acceptable use

• Do not try to access other people’s accounts or data, probe or overload the service, or scrape it.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or anything unlawful.
• Do not put real farm data into the shared demo farm; it is public and resets nightly.

Availability

We run AleroAG on our own infrastructure and work to keep it up, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause, or retire features. If we ever shut the service down, we will give account holders reasonable notice and time to export their data.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, AleroLabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost crops, missed sales, or losses from acting on a number shown in the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the past twelve months, which for a free account is zero.

Ending things

You can stop using AleroAG or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota and the United States. If we change them in a meaningful way we will update the date at the top and mention it to account holders. Questions go to [email protected].
